About PCNA

Pojulu Community North America

Pojulu Community North America (PCNA) is a nonprofit corporation organized under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 317A, and recognized as tax-exempt under IRC § 501(c)(3). Our headquarters is at 4150 Lexington Ave N, St. Paul, MN 55126.

We were established by Pojulu people of South Sudan living in North America, inspired by shared heritage and cultural values. PCNA seeks to preserve and promote cultural and social identity, while focusing on economic well-being both within the diaspora and in our homeland.

PCNA may work in partnership with South Sudanese communities in North America to foster collaboration and unity, and with any charitable organization whose mission aligns with our purposes.

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors (3–7 members) and an Executive Committee of 13 officers elected and appointed through democratic processes at our general assembly meetings.

Board Chairperson

Wani Hakim — Elected by the General Assembly to govern and manage corporate affairs.

Executive President

LuMori Delokwen — Chief executive officer overseeing day-to-day operations and official spokesperson.

Structure

Board of Directors with Chairperson, Vice President, and sub-county representatives for Kenyi, Kupera, Lainya, Mukaya, and Wondoruba, plus a 13-officer Executive Committee.
